Cinderella Girls Gekijou Second Season/ Cinderella Girl Theater Second Season

The continuation of the first season. The second season introduces more of the Cinderella girls. Its only 3 minuets long.

Taishou Chicchai San

Another short here ,It follow a guy as he goes to the capital he spends the night at there but once he wake up he sees that he is chibified. Its Oz mafia all over again if you never played the game you will be lost. Its not a bad short but it is a confusing one.

Himouto! Umaru Chan-R

Himouto Umaru Chan-R is the second season of Himouto! Umaru chan. If you seen the first season then you would wanna check out the second season. This season mostly focuses on Umaru interactions with her friends and her brothers friends instead of her interaction with her brother.

Inuyashiki Last Hero

 

 Old man superhero. That basically it.Seriously though this show follows a old man name Ichirou Inuyashiki, a old man who has a shit family(his family treats him like shit)  works at a job where hes the only old person and finds out hes only have three months to live.At his wits end he go to a park with his dog Hanako(who he found earlier in the episode and the only person who doesn't treat him like shit) to cry when he is attack by some mecha alien thing and basically is killed and brought back to life. He spends the rest of the episode assessing his new situation and before the episode end he uses his power to save a homeless guy from kids who were burning him with fireworks. The first episode was great and the animation for Inuyashiki transformation was good It seem like it will be a good show but its only going to have 11 episodes.

Juuni Taisen/Zodiac Wars

The same person who brought you the Monogatari series is back to bring you Fate/stay night the Chinese Zodiac edition. Yep This series is made by NishiOisiN the same person who brought you the Monogatari series and the Zarengoto Series is back to bring you a Zodiac battle royal. The first episode mostly focus on the Boar character while introducing the other members of the zodiac. Visually and Plot wise it is interesting. I'm looking to see what else this show has to offer and seeing it was written by NishiOsiN I'm looking to see how the plot is gonna go.

Ousama Game/ King's Game

 This season Gore fest, King game follows a group of High School Students who must Follow orders given to them by King unseen but orders are given to them Via text messages. Failure to carry out said orders would result in the student dying in a horrible way. The first half was just to set up characters and the plot. The second half was a outright murder fest. 10 students died in the first episode alone. Kings game is very interesting so im looking foward to see what else it has in store.

Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou/Girl's Last Tour

This story follow two girls One name Chito and the other name Yuuri as they travel throughout a post-apocalyptic world. The first episode was rather good while being atmospheric. We got to see the interaction between the girls as they struggle to survive in the world they are in, even seeing Yuuri almost shoot Chito over rations they found. Its a interesting Slice of life anime and im looking forward to more from this show.


Blend S

This follows Maika Sakuranomiya as she struggles to find employment so she can save up to study overseas due to her having a sadistic look to her eyes. On her way to a interview she bumps into Dino a owner of a Coffee shop which the servers have to play a stereotype (i.e Tsundere, imoto, Sadistic ect) after not getting a job (due to her sadistic look in her eyes) Dino see her again and offers her a job in his coffee shop which she takes. So far it not bad and having coffee shop workers play stereotypes like they work at a maid cafe is kinda interesting.  So far its a good show.

Owarimonogatari season 2 final thoughts

The late comer to the summer party Owarimonogatari season 2 is the conclusion to the Monogatari anime series. It was a Two day event. Being honest this was a two day OVA. Its technically a OVA. Owarimonogatari season 2 is shorter than any of the other monogatari anime with a whopping 3  episodes.

So the first part continues after the last episode of Kyomimonogatari. Basically Kyomi is set to hell and meet Mayoi there. She is tasked with guiding him out of hell. It turns out all of this was planned by Gaen with the help of Tadatsuru (main bad guy from Tsukimonogatari)  to extract Shinobu from him and making him human again. Before leaving hell he takes Mayoi with him back to earth and Tadatsuru tell him the name of the person who hired him to kill Kyomi which was Oshino Ougi.

hitagi rendezvous was basically Kyomi and Senjogehara going on a date. This half was mostly use to set up Ougi dark. The only good part to me was when Ougi enters Kyomi dream and they talk until he wakes up. Im glad they deiced to make Senjogehara  have long hair again. Also she has a driver license so that was cool and interesting.


In Ougi dark the first half was Gaen, Kyomi, shinobu(in her kiss shot form) and Mayoi dissucssing plans on how to take out Ougi. Gaen decides to make Mayoi god of the shrine Nadeko once took over when she was possed by the snake in order to restore some kind of balence in that town. Gaen says he original plan was make Shinobu the god of that shrine but plans fell through when Nadeko got involved. Gaen then tells Kyomi Ougi's true identy  and that he alone must stop her. It turns out Ougi is Kyomi. Ougi was created to judge Kyomi and all his deeds and actions. Kyomi now knowing this confronts Ougi in the old cram school from bakemonogatari where Oshino Meme was located. Once Kyomi reveals Ougi true identity the darkness shows up to take Ougi. Kyomi ends up saving Ougi and losing a arm in the process.While the darkness is still there waiting to take Ougi  Oshino Meme shows up along with Hanekawa. Meme end up making the Darkness go away  by acknowledging Ougi as his niece thus acknowledging her presence.
The whole series ends with Kyomi, Senjogehara and Hanekawa graduating High school and Kyomi telling Ougi (who is basically a ghost like oddity now) that no matter how much he change he still gonna be himself.


Plot-8.5
Hitagi Rendezvou was kinda boring being honest. Yes her interaction with Kyomi was nice but plot wise if it didn't help set up Ougi Dark i would have skipped it.
Characters-9
Mayoi had the most character development  she seem more mature in this series. I like the fact that they decided to make Senjogehara have long hair her character seem the same as in other series. Mayori had the most development as a character in my opinion
Animation-10
Weird animation choices were made in this series but it still was good and to be expected from SHAFT
Overall-9.5
This was a nice conclusion to the series overall. Hanamonogatari is the True ending timeline wise but Owarimonogatri season 2 was a good ending overall. It wrapped up every loose ends nicely and it was good.

Nora to oujo to noraneko heart/Nora, Princess and Stray cat

Based off a  Hentai game it follows a princess of the underworld who turns a human boy into a cat and in order to turn him back he need to kiss a girl. It moslty follow the pair as they meet different girls who are apart of the plot and are trying to get the princess to turn him back but dont or do wanna kiss him but are too "embarrassed". The show is only three minunts so idk how far are they going to go with any nudity. So far the first three episode have been funny and the animation reminds me of any Japanese flash animation but its a good show.


Musekinin Galaxy Tylor/Irresponsible Galaxy Tylor

This show has been met with a bit of controversy from fan of the Original Irresponsible Captain Tylor. This show takes place 2000 years after the original show and follows a banjo playing guy name Banjo Ukei Tylor and his space dandy cease and deist letter robot partner Yamamoto. The show is only Three minuets and the last three episode sees them meet a girl name Goza 168 sei a princess from a now long gone linage, getting a space ship to travel the galaxy, and meeting Dolly who i guess is possessing  the ship they are in.  While not a bad short the controversy comes from many fans from the original show which was 26 episodes and ran for 26 min instead of 3 expecting this to be some kind of ending or better ending to the original series than the OVA they gotten long ago. This show isn't really for fans of the original i guess. Its more trying to get new fans to watch the original series.

Keppeki Danshi Aoyama Kun/Cleanliness boy! Aoyama Kun

This follow a soccer player name Aoyama who is a massive germaphobe . He doesn't like being touch by anyone or anything that he deems is dirty. The first episode was funny and wasn't what i expected from this show, mostly giving its technically a sport anime as well, but i like Aoyama character and his interaction with his team mate Zaizen.

Princess Principal

This takes place in 19th century  London and follows a group of four spies. Their leader just so happens to be a princess. The first episode was ok. I am still looking to see where its going and why the princess is there in the group.


Centaur No Nayami/ A Centaur life

Follows a Trio of monster girl in high school. Its this season moe monster high school anime series. Its nothing special too it but it's a cute show. Its happen to have short segments which makes me wonder why wasn't this made into a five or ten min short. Either way it a cute slice of life moe show.

Jigoku Shojo Yoi no Togi/ Hell Girl Fourth Twilight 

This one is kinda baffling, not plot wise plot wise it follows the same as the last three season. for the most part it looks like Emma Ai the series main protagonist will be challenge by a new girl who sees Emma Ai as not necessary. She seems to be some kind of supernatural being like Emma but on the good side. The last Hell Girl season aired in 2008 so it kinda odd that they would make a Fourth season now in 2017.A perfect time to air the fourth season would have been 2010-11 but that's just me. The fourth season it actually pretty good so far and im actually interested in this good vs evil premise they are offering this season.

Summer Anime 2017 First impression part 1

The summer anime season started and there are ALOT of good anime series this season. While spring only had a good handful of series worth watching it looks like we will be spoiled this season.

Fate/apocrypha

 Another Fate/ series. This one take place in the future after the Grail wars however, a family has the grail and now two fraction (red and black) has to fight it out to see who will fight to even get the grail again. A interesting twist on the Fate/ series. The first episode didn't hold back on the blood and gore either with caster of the black killing people in the forest for reasons. Im looking forward to see the other servants and how this show is going to turn out seeing how it is a Fate/ series i know its going to be good.



Kakegurui!

Do you like anime's about gambling? Do you like anime's that about gambling that has a batshit insane main female character? well that basically Kakegurui. It follows Yumeko Jabami who transfers into a school where wealth rules and gambling decides students fate. The first episode shows Jabami owning Mary a girl who challenged her to rock, paper,scissors .The whole show is very interesting and i'm interested to see where it goes especially seeing how its about gambling in high school.

 Ballroom e Youkoso/ Welcome to the Ballroom

It follows Tatara Fujita who is having a hard time deciding what to do once he leaves Junior high. Not knowing what to do or what he should be doing he wonders till he ends up at a Dancing school.It drags on with him debating on wheater or not to join but after seeing a DVD of Sengoku the school instructor in a dancing competition he is then convinced he should but not having a job he works out some agreement with Sengoku and he has him dance the box just to see if he was serious. He was and by the end of the episode Fujita has blisters on his feet showing he is serious about dancing.The Dancing  in this show is fluid and very well animated. 

Katsugeki:Touken Ranbu/ Action Picture! Touken Ranbu

 Ufotable at it again with the visuals. It follow two guys trying to keep order and stop the time retrograde army from messing up the space time continuum. As you do i guess?  Seeing how it is a Ufotable works i can expect good visuals and fight scenes and the first episode was packed with them.I can see this being a top 3 anime of the summer seasons.

Aho-girl

I didn't expect this show to be as funny as it is. It follow Yoshiko Hanabatake a girl with a unhealthy obsession with bananas and her classmate Akuru Akutsu or A-Kun and their hijink with Hanabatake obsession with banana's. This show is only 10 minute. Does its job with making you laugh in only 10 minutes


NTR  netsuzou-trap

Cucked: the anime That's basically it. That what this anime is. If you even read a little (like i did) of this you know that is what this anime is.  Bullshitting aside it follows Yuma Okazaki(pink hair)  and her childhood friend Houtaru Mizushina(black hair) both have boyfriends but Houtaru can't stop fucking with(literally) Yuma even though they both have boyfriends!! Their boyfriends know nothing about them kissing behind their back either. First episode ends with Houtaru giving Yuma a french kiss because she got jealous that Yuma boyfriend gave her a kiss so she decided in her mind to one up him by giving Houtaru tongue with her kiss. This is another 10 minute anime even so it manages to tell its story in that amount of time.

Attack On Titan Season 2 Final Thoughts

The most anticipated and hyped anime has come to a end. Attack on Titan season 2 was one of the spring season best anime. From the first episode to the last it did not hold back on the blood shed and deaths.

The first half of the series see the group trying to plug up a hole in  the wall only to find out that not only Ymir is a titan but Reiner and Berthold tare titans as well. The later half sees the group trying to get Eren back after Reiner and Bertholdt kidnaps him and a unconscious Ymir reason are vaguely explained in the show.

The last episode basically see everybody trying to dodge titans that Reiner is throwing at the group in his titan form in order to kill anybody trying to stop him getting Eren back (at this point the group gotten him back) People dying and getting injured from the titans and Eren and Mikasa confronting the titan that ate Eren's mom.  Hannes showed up and decided to take revenge on Erens behalf seeing how he's still tied up and Mikasa is still injured. Mikasa end up untying Eren and Eren tries to go into titan form but for some reason can't this time. Of course Hannes had to be the last (important) death of the show because the titan ended up killing him.

All seem lost and while Mikasa give her exposition to Eren while he down and out  on why he give her hope and what not, This motivates him once more and he decides to take on the titan in his human form because fuck logic i guess. Somehow this works and he gains some weird new titan super power that  ables him to control all the titans in the area as they stop attacking everybody and eats the titan that killed his mom and Hannes. During that time everybody decides to get the fuck out of there

Reiner wasn't having any of it though and decides to chase but Eren with his new titan power has the titan attack Reiner. Later in the episode we see a recovering Ewrin who has a beard for some reason with Levi and Pixis in a room when Hange and Connie enters. Hange tells everybody the shocking discovery she made when she researched Connies home town. The titans were residents of Connie home town meaning the titans are human. Of course Connie is in shock because this prove that titan on his house was him mom. Levi ask was all his years wasted killing nothing but humans but Hange said that it was just a theory for now.

The show ends with the group on a wall in uniform with exposition about how the residents from wall Maria has only a week left of food and the person who is operating the giant gorilla titan coming out of it. We still don't know who it is though as they only showed a shadow of the person.

Unlike season 2 we won't have to wait long for season 3 as season 3 was announced for 2018. This was better than season one but for it to have only 12 episode it was amazing and did a good job at adapting the manga. I still do think Ymir, Bertholdt, and Reiner being titans is lazy writing but the whole Titans are human do put a interesting twist on everybody killing them freely.

Attack on Titan season 2 episode 6

If you are only watching the anime and haven't read the manga i think its safe to say that it would be easier to figure out who ISN'T a titan at this point.

A quick recap of 1-5. There's a titan in a wall, we are introduced to a tall ass speaking titan Connie hometown got wrecked and a titan(probably his mom) was on his house,  And Ymir is a titan. I know im simplifying things but that just about what happen in 1-5.

In this week episode the gang is on the wall to seal up the hole the  wall titan made. One of the scout informs Hange that there is no hole in the wall. Hange is understandably confused but decides to have everyone leave seeing how there is no hole to fix anymore. Reiner and Bertolt pull Eren to the side to tell him that they both are titans. So casually too.  Reienr is the Armored titan and Bertolt the Colossal titan (the tall skinless one from the first season). Eren of course is skeptical of Reiner claimes seeing how they both just gotten back from a massive titan attack and had to be saved by Ymir in titan form before she got wrecked and is now in a coma.

Eren tell Reiner that hes just stress and that he and Bertolt couldn't possibly be those titan's. He tell Reiner that he need to get some rest. This some how flips Reiner Kill switch and he and Bertolt both decides to turn into titans not before they are attack by Mikasa who was just standing a few feet by.  This only helps them become titans faster as they don't need to bite themselves to do so and shock by this sudden revelation Eren is stunned by it all.

So Eren  while still upset and confused decides to take them on in his titan form. So Next week is the massive titan battle between the three.
To be honest the whole "this person is a titan" is Lazy yet interesting writing. Its Lazy because like who else is a titan why not make the whole squad full of titans? it interesting because it does build drama and suspense and it catches the view off guard on who is actually a titan.

Aso Bertolt always look like he was hiding something so him being find out he was a titan wasn't really that shocking because he always look suspicious.

I can't wait to see what going to happen during the massive titan fight between the three.

Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu_ka?/ What are you doing at the end of the world? Are you busy? Will you save us?

 It will always be refered to as SukaSuka because that titled is long as shit. Long titled aside it follow a guy who is chared with taking care of weapons. Turns out the weapon were some girls all along. I found the first episode boring and the long title was off putting to me but i still found it interesting to some degree im gonna give it the three episode treatment before i decide to drop it completely.

Kenka Banchou Otome Girl Beats Boys

Girl Beats Boys  follows Hinako Nakayama who gets tricked by her twin brother into going to a all boys school in his steed. There she finds out that its the worst school in all Japan. Everybody there fights to see who is going to be king of the first years (or the school). The first episode see her kick this guy who saves her after she was about to get her ass kicked during opening ceremonies . After she tell the guy her name (she is using her bros Name ) he was ready to kick her ass because apparently her bro is a bad ass or something. This is a short clocking in at only 8min but it does well with getting its story across.


Nobunaga No Shinobi Ise Kanegasaki-hen/ Ninja Girl and Samurai master Ise Kaegasaki arc

The second season of Ninja girl and Samurai Master. Follows Chidori as she help Nobunaga in his quest to make a better Japan. If you haven't seen the first season you will be a bit lost because most of the character who are introduce in the first play a important role in the second.


Cinderella Girls Gekijou/ Cinderella Girl Theater

This  IdolM@aster Short that Follows the daily lives of the Cinderella Idols. They switch from full size to Chibi size. Its a cute short and if you are fan or have watch Idolm@ster Cinderella girls then you might wanna check this out.

The Laughing Salesman NEW/ Warau Salesman New

This show can be a bit creepy and it creep factor mostly comes from the Laughing salesman itself. It follows The Laughing Salesman Name Fukuzou Moguro who goes around granting peoples "dreams" that are in their hearts. Mostly he goes around fucking up people lives by giving them false hope or if they don't heed his warning will just make their life's hell. I don't know if this is a remake but most of the episode are stories of people he meets on his journey around Japan and how he goes out of his way to "help" them. If you don't like the old art style it has  or not a fan mystery/horror anime then this is passable.



Kabukibu!/Kabuki Club

Back at it again with the CLAMP anime. Its been a while since we had a anime from CLAMP. Kabukibu! Follows Kurongo Kurusu and his friend Murase Tonbo as they try to get member to start a Kabuki Club. CLAMP is going to CLAMP so of course there were people with disproportion body parts. So far the story isn't bad and the characters are likeable.


Tsugumomo

Tsugumomo follow Kazuya Kagami a highschooler who carries around his mother obi in backpack. After being attck by a possessed wig and falling off the roof a spirit comes from the obi name Kiriha and protects him.  Both from that point on have to fight spirts/demons possessing items or in its recent episode a whole place.Its mostly a supernatural comedy anime. Also Kiriha reminds me of Ryoko of Tenshi Muyo and i don't know why.


Hinako Note

Not much to say about this one. Its another Moe slice of life anime for this spring season. Hinako Note follows Hinako
Sakuragi. A country girl who moves to Tokyo in hopes of joining the high school Theater Club. Upon arriving she meets Kuina Natsukawa a girl who works at a bookstore and loves books so much she eats the pages(no joke) and Mayuki Hiiragi a girl who often gets mistaken for a child. Hinako finds out from Chiaki Ogino who is a part of the Theater club and is also the landlady for the place Hinako is staying at (and who looks alot like Lain in the face department)  that the club is on hiatus but encourages Hinako to start her own in the meantime.  The show is cute and it reminds me alot of Is the order a Rabbit? 

 Sin:Nanatsu no Taiza/ Seven Mortal Sins

So there is another anime by the same name and no its clearly got nothing to do with that. Seven mortal sins follows Lucifer(yes really)  as She is cast out of heaven and at first lands in a church and meet a nun in training name Maria Tousaka. She help her before the Lucifer decide to give maria a bit of of her blood before falling to the coldest part of Hell. There she meet Leviathan Goddess of the sea and Super Sonico reject. From that point on both decides to fight the sin's. A group of girl who make up the seven deadly sins. At the end of the episode a injured Lucifer and Leviathan return to the church Lucifer first fell too and meet up with Maria again before Lucifer decides to kill her for no reason. the first episode was ok. Typical ecchi yuri fodder but i hope later episode are more action pact that the first. Also this is another anime based of a toy/Figurine Line.
