Final Thoughts Planetarian: the reverie of a little planet

I think Key Studios  enjoys drinking the tears of its viewers of its animes and players of its visual novels. For a short ONA it sure packs a heavy emotional punch.
Planetarian: the reverie of a little planet Or Planetarian: chiisana hoshi no yume is one of the anime that is finished and one that Studio Key has based of the Visual Novel by the same name. A five episode ONA with a movie that is going to be released next month to be exact.

Our Characters during this emotional ride are Kuzuya a human who job it is to collect usable part in a post apocalyptic city where for the most part he is the only human around during the show. He goes on nameless and his job title is "Junker" but if you want to be technical, Futuristic garbage man with a gun. Our other character is a robot name Yumemi Hoshino, a robot greeter girl who works at a run down planetarium and  that is out of date by 30 years and who thinks everything around her is the same as it was 30 ago before society went to shit.

Now picture the scene, You are a Futuristic garbage person who lives in a post apocalyptic city and you are the only human around for miles.  You come across a building that you think might have supplies you can use until you can get to your next location only to find a robot who is out of date and is begging you to fix this thing they want to show you. You comply because you don't want to get caught by what out there and you need shelter so  you fix it. They show you what they needed to show you and you take your leave only for the robot to want to escort you to you next location. You form a bond with the robot even to the point of planning a future with the thing(weird but just go with it)  you get caught in a confrontation with a evil robot you been trying to run away from only for the robot you been in company with to protect you from  evil robot and die.

That basically the plot of Planetarian. The first three episode were spent getting to know the characters and dicking around. Kuzuya trying to fix "Miss Jenna" The projecter who is also out of date by 30 years. He end up fixing it only for the last power that was keeping the plantarium on to go out and Yumemi to adlib the rest of it without "Miss Jenna's" help. Episode four Yumemi decides to say "Fuck it" and leaves the planiarium  to escort Kuzuya to his car which was what seem like miles away from the planitarium and  the gut puncher comes in episode Five where she dies protecting Kuzuya from  a huge evil robot.

While there were moments Yumemi was a tad bit annoying she was the redeemer of this ONA. Kuzuya while seeming badass was kinda bland and really didn't have any personality till the end.

I enjoyed this short little series and i hope the movie that comming out will answer some of the question that some have now that this is over. I do feel that this will go un notice however seeing how Key also has Re-write out and everybody want to see the emotional ride  that is going to be(myself included) but if you are a fan of Key work you should definally check this show out.

OzMafia!!!

I really do not know what is going on in this show. This show is a short which is based off a game by the same name which im guessing was made for the fans of the game so if you aren't or never heard of the game (like i have) you will be completely lost. For the most part it s a good short and its made by the people or person who brought you Diabolk lovers so there's that.


Fudanshi Koukou Seikatsu

This short follows a guy Sakaguchi who is a "Fudanshi" a male equivalent of  a Fujioshi he like reading BL but isn't gay just enjoy the romantic relationship between the characters he has a friend who doesn't mind his hobbies but hates the fact he does occasionally would write him into his stories. Its a very funny short to check out if you want to see what a fudanshi is like.


Amaama to Inazuma/ Sweetness and lightning 

To be honest it would have made one of my list but i feel like ive seen it before. Its like a mix between Usagi drop(without the insectious overtones) and Shaft Koufuku Graffiti  and that the show.  The plot follow a father who is taking care of his daughter after becoming a widow and a high school student who always eats alone due to the fact her mother is always working. The two decide to help each other out. She will teach him how to cook if he along with his daughter will eat with her every night. Its a good show but i also feel like its lacking in places.


Love live ! Sunshine!!

Another one that would have made my top list had the main character wasn't so FUCKING ANNOYING.  Seriously, how is it that EVERYONE ELSE IS LIKEABLE EXCEPT THE MC. I legit want to punch the girl in the throat.  Other than my pure hatred for the MC, Sunshine is better that the original love live to me.  I like five of the girls and for the most part the songs are decent. Im hoping they do something way different with Sunshine.  to make it more different from Love live entirely.

Summer Anime First Impression 2016 Pt 2

Let get started with the first anime that aired this week 


Dangan Rompa 3 Mirai hen/ Dangan Rompa 3 Future arc

 Why 3? cus FUCK YOU  that why! No but seriously It from what the internet is buzzing about we aren't getting a decent season 2 at least not now.  Instead we are getting not one but TWO season 3 broken up into two arcs. The first is the Future arc. Four of the surviving characters return and we are introduce to new characters One has a voice that sound like a baby girl despite being a grown man. Naegi return and doesn't take long before he is automatically suspected of treason  The episode ends with Momokuma returning and wanting to play a game with the remnants of Hope. Not up for the bullshit Naegi try to tell momokuma to fuck off but it was too late and we already end the episode with one of the new characters dead. Looking for that classic pink blood? You won't find any in the future arc in fact you will find it...


Dangan Ronpa 3 Despair Hen/ Dangan Ronpa  Despair arc

HERE. Dangan Ronpa Despair arc mostly focuses on the new class of characters from Hope peak academy and the poor bastard who will ultimately end up killing each other via battle royal meet ace attorney style. I Like the the new class because of the Nurse and Ibuki and Kimono girl and Yes More pink blood in this one.


Planetarian-Chiisana hoshi no yume/ Planetarian Dream of the small star

Another anime by KEY however this is a ONA and this is kinda a strange one. For starters this only plans on being five episode, Second  we are getting a movie this September so there that. Anyway the first episode is basically a guy savaging for what he can in a barren wasteland in the future. He meet a out of date robot who works at a run down mall who tries to show him stars via planetarium but the projector is out of date by 30 years. Long story short the first ONA ends with Robot girl wait for guy to return for second showing of a show that can't happen and guy reluctant to tell her that most of humanity is fucking dead.
Oh KEY my feelz though.

So these are my top anime for the summer. Honorable mentions will be out this weekend.

Summer Anime First Impression 2016

Well its summer and it looks like its that time again. Summer Anime has just aired and here are just a few that i will be watching.

Let jump right into it.

Re write (tv)

Rewrite is based of the visual novel by the same name and hey its made by the company who brough us series that made us either cry so hard we almost died from dehydration or fly into a fit of rage  and that company is KEY studios. The first episode was a hour long and being honest the first episode could have been a simple 30 min long. It was good some of the character were kinda bland but hopefully knowing key we will see their development over the series. Hopefully they won't drop the ball like they did with Charollte as this show is based of their fucking visual novel.


Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Ilya 3rei

 Holy shit! This is the third season for the Magical girl Illya series but t looks like this season will be its more darker arc than the previous two. Hell in the first seven minuets we were met with a bad ass battle that would have been usually been saved for the third or fifth episode!  New characters were introduced and while it looks its going to keep to its shoujo ai/ yuri roots it seem that if you want more action from this series you are gonna get it in 3rei


Amanchu!!

Apparently this anime is made by the person who made Aira the animation anyway this show is about a girl who moves to what i can assume is a sea port community and meets girl who is so random but is part of a scuba club. To sum up the first episode Normie befriends Muppet "im so random Lols" girl who can swim. Seeing how ts made by the person who made Aira we can expect it to look visually stunning at points. I enjoyed the first episode so im looking forward for what this series holds.

91 Days 

 This is the story of Vengeance! and with that we weren't even eased into it before we were thrusted into the action. The story takes place during the Prohibition era and circling around mafia and revege it seems like the stand out show for the summer season.  The person who did the character designs for Baccano and all of the durarara season also did the designs for this show. If you are a fan of either Baccano or Durarara you will want to check it out,  beside that it really has a interesting plot.

Summer Anime First Impression Pt 3(Final Part)

Im sick so i will be slow to post. I know that some of these episodes are on their 2-3 episode still im giving my first impression.


Himotou Umaru chan

A story about a Girl who lives with her older brother who at school puts on a persona like she has her stuff all together but in reality is a hard core otaku. The first episode was so funny. She is a fifteen turning sixteen year old who threw a fit because her brother didn't go get her manga. Even her own brother couldn't believe it. I love this shows comedy so i will be watching it. its mostly Slice of life but the comedy is just too much.

GATE

It's like someone took both season of SAO and said "Fuck you" to it's creator.  This show it's like SAO but add a 33 year old otaku who get drafted into the Army and take out the "getting trap in the game" element you have GATE. The first episode was interesting. I'm kinda iffy about this show while it is good i got a feeling its going to lag some where in the middle.

DurararaX2-ten

Guess who back and took a page out of Kaowu Nagisa book of loving human beings and has a boner for life? Izaya! As well as the others are back in the second half of the second season of Durararax2-Ten. The first episode of the second half was mostly spend with izaya recovering from the stab he gotten at the end of the first half and him dicking around in his hospital room because he was bored. Near the end some girl from so suicide club Izaya started (god only knows when) comes back and tries to kill him for trying to kill her  but he ends up subduing her. This second half look like it going to tie up the loose end from the first half but it's Durarara so we might just be left with more loose end to tie up.

Gakkou Gurashi/School Live!

 If Madoka magica left you with feelz for Maho shojo's then School Live!/Gakkou Gurashi will leave you broken and feeling helpless for girls trying to survive a zombie infestation and one of the girls having grand delusions. Either way this is another fucked up anime about school girls. It's more on the psycological side because one of the main characters chooses to live in her own fantasy world instead of the horrible zombie infested world she has to currently survive in. Good show.


God Eater

  The first episode was delayed one week but boy was it worth the wait. Slow start but  for the most part this looks like it's going to be good. I never played the games so it going to be interesting to see how this anime going to be also Ufotable is doing the animation so this should be good visually as well.


I will be doing something i never done before and do a special part for Honorable mentions because there are alot just didn't meet my anime watching list.

Okusama  ga  Seitokaicho/ My Wife is the Student Council President

Need to Fap? Only have 5 minutes? well this show is perfect for you. The first episode was good it is not about a man marring a high school students(sorry pedos) but about two high school students that due to a agreement that their parents made when they where younger they are now husband and wife(insert ranma joke here) for five minutes you really see a lot. Near the end you would think you was watching a hentai


A boring world where the concept of  dirty joke doesn't exist/ Shimoneta

 The english title is too long the japanese title is too long. Either way this show is about people with collars on their neck and if they even say something obsene police would raid where ever they are at and put them in jail. The main character goes to a school where nobody even know what sex,porn or dirty jokes are that school is just too pure and don't even graps the concept of sex and is force to work with blue snow a female streaker who goes around trying to make the world impure by spreading porn saying foul words and streaking. There is a scene in this show where the students in this school come to flies fucking. FLIES FUCKING!

Gatchaman Crowns Insight

You would need to watch the OVA inbound before watching the first episode because you will be so lost like i was. The old favs return and we are introduce to new characters. Its still colorful as ever and it looks like Tsubasa the new Gatchaman is trying to surpass Hajime in hyperness.


Rokka No Yuusha / Rokka Brave of the six flowers

The animation look like that of the "Tales of" series. The plot is about six hero's  who were selected by the goddess who posses one flower  to kill the demon of the land the main character who is self proclaim "strongest main alive"  who get thrown in jail for interrupting a staged battle but at the end is chosen to be one of the six to fight the demon. For the most part it is good but the plot is is kinda meh to me.



Monster Musume

Do you like monsters? Wish your wifeu was a monster? well your in luck. Basically the whole premises of this anime is one guy who look after a snake girl but oh no that not all other girl of different breed all fight for his affection. Monster wifeu the anime basically. the first episode wasn't really that good to me but if you are a Harem anime fan then you will probably like this.

First impression of FREE~Enternal Summer and Tokyo Ghouls

So Free Second season FREE~Eternal Summer~  I just got finshed watching. I feel like this season will be more drama heavy season. The opening had me want to peel my face off in a good way because it was so sexy.  We were introduce to a new character who i feel will add the drama to the series so im looking forward to this season of free.


Tokyo Ghouls.... (sigh ) first of let me say this FUNIMATION STOP IT! Stop getting series before they air and stop subbing them too because i feel not only half of the time you get it wrong and when you do dub it (because they are if they got the sub) you get voice actors/actress who fall flat and you keep using over and over again. I couldn't enjoy it. I honesly couldn't enjoy Tokyo Ghouls because when i seen "FUNIMATION YOU SHOULD BE WATCHING"logo and i wasn't even watching it from funimation site i was automatically turn off. Plot wise it kinda simular to Shinki mixed with hellsing because the main character is turn into a Ghoul via transplant and in this series Ghouls are monster like canibals idk i stop caring half way through .


I know i will keep watching free i might keep watching Tokyo Ghouls but sparingly.
